== History ==
BetaCast started as a revival of YouTube's 2006 layout in May 2022, but was shut down less than a week later. It reopened in late 2022 and was updated to YouTube's 2009 layout on January 18, 2023. The site closed again on April 10, 2023, and reopened on December 4, 2023.

BetaCast was updated to YouTube's 2013 layout on April 22, 2024. In May 2024, logins were switched to QFX accounts.

On September 19, 2024, BetaCast introduced advertisements.

From December 23, 2024, to January 10, 2025, BetaCast would experience its longest outage to date, lasting a total of 19 days.
